Handmade true indigo pigment and handmade gold pigment on raw Irish linen, 36 x 54 in. (91 x 137 cm.), 2018-2019. Based around a vivid dream Laurie M. had one morning. The details in indigo painted prior to Laurie M.’s first trip to Indonesia in 2018. The addition of gold pigment added upon her return from that monumental trip to Indonesia. This painting is a pivotal turning point in her artistic work.
